With the DS8 True Biotic, Prodir is setting new standards in the use of sustainable materials. The casing (body, clip and push button) is made from plastic-free, biobased biopolymers (PHA) that are also biodegradable. Micro-organisms synthesize PHA through fermentation and break it down again in the sea, fresh water or the soil – something they have been doing in all natural environments for millions of years. The creation and degradation processes follow nature’s own carbon cycle. The DS8 True Biotic combines maximum sustainability with top-quality design and workmanship.
